He also said that in Sichuan, electricity prices in some areas are about 0.45 yuan / kWh, but its power consumption is up to 180 kWh per kilogram, so their electricity costs are 42% more than low-cost polysilicon enterprises. Therefore, if a regional government can control and lower the price of electricity, polysilicon enterprises need to increase their competitiveness by expanding production scale, selecting new technologies and reducing energy consumption.
